Since 2001 over 4,000 people has been killed in Chicago alone making it the new murder capital in America. Today we have more black leaders in public office and yet none of our black leaders in the United States has implemented a plan to end urban violence or police brutality within our community. What exactly are black leaders doing for our inner cities? The Obama administration and the Department of Justice has failed us in the case of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Eric Garner, and Sandra Bland. For 23 years I’ve been doing my best to find people in my city to join my management team. Still to this day I have no one on my management team this is why I wrote my story “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition. In my book I provide a road map on how my organization will end urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance. Once I have my team in place we will offer a positive organization in Chicago which will focus on the black family and the low income African American community which lack basic resources starting on the Westside of Chicago and also on the Southside of Chicago.

I refuse to allow small minded individuals from discouraging me from my God given assignment. I am determined to use my story as a catalyst for social change. The aim of GRCAM is to serve inner city children and their families affected by poverty, crime, and adversity by meeting the need of the community starting in Chicago. I wrote my story in order to generate capital so that I can move my virtual organization from behind a PC and put into action what I have written by developing a variety of community based programs and services for working Families. Through my organization we will focus on community safety for our children and for community residents. I believe my organization can replicate Black Wall Street in our inner cities if the community wants it. If Black Lives Matter then everyone on my friends list and in my social groups would work with me in getting my revised book on the best seller list.
Our History

I created GRCAM the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement back in 1991 on a site called Gopher. I assist others who join my virtual organization with finding college scholarships/grants; nonprofit grants; housing; legal services and employment on a national level all for free. The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement is a Christian Socialist organization. A Christian socialist is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. Many Christian socialists believe that capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed, social inequality, and institutionalized racism which most Christian denominations consider a mortal sin. Our focus is on love, compassion, social justice, and liberation theology. Jesus commanded us to be a witness to others not just for us to read his word, but to activate social change in the world according to Luke 4:18-19.

My revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition. I would like for my book to be used as a tool for community based advocacy and to create dialogue for social justice. Since I lack support from established black organizations within my city I decide to use social media as a way to connect with like minded individuals from around the United States and abroad with others who are concerned about solving black issues once and for all. I wrote my book for three reasons: one reason is to raise awareness about the genocide which is taken place within our inner cities in America.

Another reason why I wrote my book is to promote my organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. GRCAM will become a none profit and also a for profit multi-service based business. It will have three main components: a social service component, a spiritual component, and a political component. Our focus is on providing goods and services to the low income African American community and working directly with single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families who want and need our services.

Finally, I wrote my book in order to generate capital/seed money so that I can hire thirty qualified individuals to assist me in the daily operation of my business. I provide a road map on how my organization will end urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalizedracism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance.Once I am able to generate enough capital from the proceeds from my book and future film I plan on starting my private school The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute, school of Arts and Entertainment. The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will support creative people and push towards social change in order to build a more just, verdant, and peaceful world. In addition GRCAI will work towards defending human rights, advance global conservation and security, and make inner cities a better place.

Our goal is to foster the development of knowledge, nurtures individual creativity, strengthen the black family, have an impact on public policy, and provide information to the public, primarily through community base media. Our clients and members will learn about our programs and services; economic development; affordable rental housing; juvenile justice reform; education, with a focus on digital media. Special Initiatives analytical and investigative news reporting and documentary films; learn about innovative approaches to important social problems in our society. I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 25 other cities within 25 states. Once we’re established in America I plan on having Native Africans in America to assist me in setting up chapters in 25 countries in Africa. GRCAM is about building a strong unified global community and providing basic resources to families that want more out of life and people who need our services. My organization is open to all law abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.
