(GRCAM Reclaming The Black Community, The Black Church, & The Black Family)

The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement is too big for a storefront. I reject small minded people who only give me their opinion but refuse to work with me. I created (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement in 1991 on a site called Gopher in order to connect with other like-minded individuals who are interested in networking with me in order for me to gather support for my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos starting in Chicago.

GRCAM is a virtual Christian socialist organization. A Christian socialist is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. Many Christian socialists believe that capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed, social inequality, and institutionalized racism which most Christian denominations consider a mortal sin. We will show an authentic form of Christianity by focusing on what we stand for: love, compassion, social justice, and liberation theology. Jesus told us to focus on the lease of these in society according to Matthew 25:35-40. Jesus commanded us to be a witness to others not just for us to read his word, but to activate social change in the world according to Luke 4:18-19.

We will be committed to the healing ministry of Jesus by showing compassion to inner city youth and their families which will promote dignity to the people and community we will serve. Religious people have no place in my Christian organization for those are the same people who had Jesus. For example, Jesus was considered a revolutionary because of his preaching in those days. He was a threat to the political elite and the religious establishment because he wanted people to focus on God’s kingdom. In the book of Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” We can see in the book of John 10:24-39 and in the book of Mark 11:27-28.

The gospels portray Jesus opponents as The Chief Priests, Scribes, Elders, Pharisees, and Sadducees as religious leaders who conspired to have him killed. The only sources we have for who had Jesus murdered are the four Gospels: Mark 14-15, Matthew 26-27, Luke 22-23, and John 18-19. The Bible tell us that Jesus was arrested, underwent two hearings or trials, was sentenced to death by crucifixion, and died on the cross. The Jews who took the initiative in this proceeding were not the only opponents of Jesus during his public ministry (the Pharisees) but also the High Priest, the Chief Priests and the Elders those who had more at stake in running the Temple and keeping the peace of Jerusalem. According to Mark 14:53-65, there were two charges made against Jesus: He threatened to destroy the Temple and claimed to be “the Messiah.”

Jesus’ threat against the Temple fits with his symbolic action in “cleansing” the Temple (Mark 11:15-19) and his prophecies about the Temple’s destruction (Mark 13:1-2). For Jewish leaders and merchants whose livelihood depended on the Temple, the slightest threat against the Temple would have been taken very seriously. Moreover, Jesus claim to be “the Messiah” set off alarms not only among the Romans but also among the Jewish leaders. Both viewed Jesus as another religious pretender who had to be dealt with. The kind of language being used about Jesus in some circles alerted them to the danger that Jesus pose to their power and status quo. Although Jewish leaders were involved, the main legal formalities were carried out by the Romans. Jesus was killed “under Pontius Pilate,” and the Jewish authorities in Jerusalem played a role in Jesus death.

In Matthew 27:25 “His blood be upon us and upon our children” is best taken as referring to the crowd manipulated by the leaders of Jerusalem. Jesus died in accord with the Scriptures as the expression of God’s will. Jesus died a sacrificial death for us and for our sins (Mark, Paul, and Hebrews). Jesus death was part of his revelation of God and of his glorious return to the Father and the pledge of his second coming (Revelation).

I am called by my creator to rebuild our inner cities in America similar to that of Nehemiah who was called by God to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Nehemiah used qualified engineers, architects and inventors to rebuild a new city. Likewise, I will use qualified individuals who have the expertise in the following area such as: Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurs, and Philanthropist, who will work with me in setting up and starting my nonprofit and my for-profit organization. My vision is confirm based on Joshua 18:3 God is asking the Black Church the same question He asked the Israelites; “How long will you wait?”

Stand up Chicago and work with me in turning my plan into a reality and let’s make our community better again. I call upon the residents on the Westside of Chicago in Austin, Garfield Park, and North Lawndale to work with me so that I can bring GRCAM to your community. I call upon the residents on the Southside of Chicago in Auburn Gresham, Bronzeville, Chatham, Englewood, Roseland, Southshore, Washington Park, and Woodlawn to work with me so that I can bring GRCAM to serve your community.

I created social groups to embrace literary authors, bloggers, writers from marginalized communities as a place where everyone on my friends list can discuss social issues in an atmosphere in which they are respected, valued, and well-served.

Once I have my management team in place and we find a location on the Westside of Chicago then I will start the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago. The goal of GRCAI is to work with local businesses who view the African American community as a fertile marketplace. GRCAI will develop equal partnership with local residents and give them a voice through collective power. GRCAI will help create new institutions and capital improvements to the neighborhood we will serve. We will create a nonprofit community health center and organized fundraising events to fund our programs and services.

GRCAM is all about social transformation in the African American community. GRCAM will help improve the communities we serve through our fundraising events to sustain our quality programs and services. GRCAM Fest will host live entertainment featuring local artist, writers, and poets discussion of black issues and black culture, and books will continue to play a vital role in Chicago’s intellectual, literary work, diverse cuisine, family oriented, and alcohol free. The benefit would be to generates capital in the Austin, Garfield Park and North Lawndale community on the Westside of Chicago and on the Southside of Chicago. Attract new businesses; offer scholarships to our members; creates jobs for local residents; help build leadership skills for at risk Black youths.

GRCAM Fest will help raise funds to help sustain and develop our programs and services focused on African American lives, ideas, and work. The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement will be a unique organization in Chicago because it’s based on my revised book "The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America" second edition which is available on Amazon.com In my book I provide a 21st century plan to eradicate urban violence while at the same time meet the social needs of the communities and families we will serve.

GRCAI will help unite the African American community with the African Immigrant community, Afro-Brazilian/ Afro-Caribbean community, build cooperative alliances with all Christian denominations, Millennials, Non-black sympathizers, moderate Muslims and secular people who are interested in working with me in turning my ideas into a real business starting in Chicago. GRCAM will be crucial to guaranteeing that a wide and diverse range of black voices and others to insure our voices are heard loud and clear.
It’s my hope that GRCAI will offer a permanent infrastructure for our Artist in Chicago that will compete with other cities like Los Angeles, New York, or Atlanta and become the Hub throughout the Mid-west for emerging black artists and upcoming black Christian Entrepreneurs.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago, will make our presence known in high crime gang and drug infested neighborhoods by developing an equal partnership with local residents who become members of this organization. We will maintain an aggressive neighborhood protection program aimed at addressing relevant social issues which affects the community negatively such as drug dealing, urban violence, and criminal behavior. GRCAI is about making our urban community better, healthier, and stronger.

GRCAI will provide quality programs and services to benefit the black community and promote culture retention. GRCAI will operate under 5 separate functions within the African American community.

1. A social service component

2. A Spiritual component

3. A Political component

4. An Entertainment component

GRCAI will help make the city of Chicago a great place for everyone to live, work and play. Together we will make a difference in the lives of Chicagoans and beyond. I am ready to lead this cause and be released from behind a computer and unleash my plan in 10 cities within 10 states in America and on the African continent.

GRCAI is membership based and private in order for me to weed out people who don’t care about our inner-city youth, their families, or the black community. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down. GRCAI is open to all ordinary law-abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.
