(GRCAM The Next Phase: Promoting My Story Through My Revised Book and My Film In Progress)

Welcome to Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos, Online Podcast I am your host Emmanuel Barbee. I created this podcast to connect with other liked minded Progressive African Americans, African Immigrants, Afro-Brazilian/Afro-Caribbean within the United States and throughout the African Diaspora. This podcast is open to all Christian denominations, Millennials, Non-black sympathizers, moderate Muslims and secular people who are concerned about solving social issues within the Black Community.

I am using this podcast as a platform for ordinary law-abiding citizens on my friends list and people from my social groups who are emerging artists, allied healthcare professionals, church leaders, and upcoming entrepreneurs for them to promote their products and services to my listeners in the podcast community. This live one hour talk show focus on promoting grassroots advocacy, business, finance, health, community-based solutions and spirituality which speaks to the interests of my listeners. This show will provide insight on how our creative abilities can be used to create tangible change in our urban communities. Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos is an extension of the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement.

Since I don’t have any guest speakers this evening I going to share with you GRCAM the next phase. I watch the Black Panther movie I enjoyed seeing black people as the main character in a block buster film. I was so inspired by the Black Panther film which made 1 Billion dollars that I decided to go back to school to learn the ins and outs of becoming a film director and a producer so that I can turn my book into a short film entitled “Hood Liberator Made In Chicago.”

I am looking for people who are skilled with cameras, lighting, sound, Musicians and Actors. The length of the film will be 20 minutes and the location of the film will be set in Chicago. I will display the short film at film festivals, Youtube and screenings until I am able to gather sponsors to fund the full movie. If interested in auditioning for a role in the film just send me your email address to my Facebook inbox, my Google inbox, my LinkedIn inbox and or my Twitter inbox. I will give preference to those who are active group members and who have purchased my revised book. I will post information about our open auditions as soon as I complete my film classes.

Wakanda is a fictional place in Africa, my question to Black America why is there not a Wakanda in our inner cities? I am trying to create something similar to Wakanda in our inner cities. The failure of Black Leadership and Black Organizations in America and in the information age is unacceptable. For 26 years I have been running across small minded brothers and sisters in person and online who only complain about the white man, the government, Jews owning the media and that black people don’t own anything etc…but when I ask them to work with me to create a new Black Wall Street they stop communicating with me or remain passive spectators on my friends list.

This prompt me to create (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement back in November 1991 on a site called Gopher. GRCAM is a new movement in Black America in the digital age. I created this virtual organization in order to help raise awareness about the genocide which is taking place within our inner cities in America, as well as for me to connect with other like-minded individuals who share my concern to form a legitimate coalition across the United States and around the globe for my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos starting in the city of Chicago.

Today GRCAM is on 300 social networks and has grown into a global movement, with thousands of people in my online social groups from around the world. My goal now is to turn GRCAM into a real Christian business (GRCAI) the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago. The only thing which is preventing me from starting my Christian organization is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I am on social media to get my message out to the public through my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my online talkshow, and now through my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition available on Amazon.

Since established black organizations in the city of Chicago refuse to work with me or embrace my vision to improve our inner cities I have decided to focus on 10 ten cities within the Midwest and some parts of the South. My Christian organization will be membership based and private. Futhermore, we will not be under the Red, Black, and Green flag because that's someone else philosophy we will create our own flag and only work with single black families that want to utilize our programs and services. We will take the lead to help improve our inner cities in America and in time expand to Africa and assist our members while improving the social conditions within the African slums if given a chance.

I will not start my Christian organization until I have my management team in place or until I generate enough capital from my book sell or my future film to hire qualified people to assist me with the daily operation of my business. We will raise the bar in Black America and make our presence known in high crime urban areas starting in the city of Chicago. GRCAI will produce leaders in the community not followers. African American from the lower economic class are suffering great harm from senseless violence, high unemployment, mass incarceration, police brutality, drug abuse, high illiteracy, inadequate healthcare and failing schools as a result of institutionalized racism. This is why I decided to go public with my story as well as make my organization membership based in order for me to weed out small minded people who only want to be seen.

I am called by my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to rebuild our inner cities in America and the slums in Africa similar to that of Nehemiah who was called by God to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Nehemiah used qualified engineers, architects and inventors to rebuild a new city. GRCAM is a Christian socialist organization. A Christian socialist is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. Many Christian socialists believe that capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed, social inequality, and institutionalized racism which most Christian denominations consider a mortal sin. We will focus on what we stand for: love, compassion, social justice, and liberation theology.

Jesus told us to focus on the lease of these in society according to Matthew 25:35-40. He also commanded us to be a witness to others not just for us to read his word, but to activate social change in the world according to Luke 4:18-19. We will be committed to the healing ministry of Jesus by showing compassion to inner city youth and their families which will promote dignity to the people and community we will serve.

It’s my hope that through my story from my book or film I could attract 30 professionals within the United States who have read my story or watch my film and who meet the criteria that I am looking for which are as follows: Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurs and Philanthropist.

I am also looking for legitimate Film Producers, Actors, Stage Managers, Grant Writers/Fundraisers, Technical Directors, Marketers, Accountants, Business Administrators, Social Workers, Financial Planners, Lawyers, Real Estate Brokers and Insurance Agents after they pass the criminal background checks, I will discuss compensation and incentives with them behind closed doors. My team will assist me in creating both a Nonprofit Cooperative Organization and a For Profit Service Based Business on the same premises in order to make my organization effective and successful for years to come and gain credibility nationwide and abroad.

I have my articles of incorporation and my bylaws typed and available for my nonprofit. I also have my articles of organization typed and available for my For Profit Service Based Business. I seek qualified professionals to join my team I will not settle for less. You don't have to wait until my book is on the best sellers list come forth. All I ask is that you read my story first so that I don't have to keep re-explaining myself this will save us time in order for us to focus on specific task.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement stand against all forms of violence, misogyny and sexism. Black Women have a voice and will be treated as equal partners if you don't believe me ask Sister Rena who is my Vice President. The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement aim to create our own system within the dominant culture. My goal is to connect with black middle class professionals who will assist me in turning my vision into a reality so that I can move GRCAM from behind a computer starting in the city of Chicago. Our mission is to work directly with single black families who reside in high crime urban areas that want to utilize our programs and services. We will display an authentic form of Christianity.

What makes GRCAI different from other black organizations? Under our nonprofit cooperative we are in business to serve our members people who want to utilize our programs and services. We will reinvest anything we make back into the cooperative to better serve our members. GRCAI believes our members deserve honesty, compassion and quality service from this kind of business. We are committed to improving the urban community through open dialogue, community advocacy and networking.

We will offer quality programs and services within the low income African American community starting on the Westside of Chicago specifically Austin, Garfield Park and North Lawndale community and eventually expand to the Southside of Chicago as mentioned in my revised book. Once my organization is established in Chicago I will declare war on this Willie Lynch mentality within the Black culture. None of my members will ever have to experience such unnecessary humiliation for trying to do something positive in the African American community this is why I decided to go public with my story.

I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 10 other cities throughout the Midwest. Once I have African Immigrants within the United States in place we will expand my Christian organization to 10 countries in Africa. The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago (GRCAI) will operate under 5 separate functions within the African American community.

1. A social service component
2. A Spiritual component (optional for secular people)
3. A Political component
4. An Entertainment component
5. An Entrepreneur component

I am just one black man with a plan and a vision it takes a team to make a dream work. GRCAM is a global community of thinkers and builders I need your help to move GRCAM from behind a computer into our urban communities that need our talent and skills. I believe this act of human collaboration across an open platform is essential to the low income African American community and our collective future.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will be private in order for us to weed out fake blacks and others who don’t care about inner-city youth, their families, or the black community. Half of GRCAI will be a Nonprofit Cooperative, governed by an Advisory Board. GRCAI will be membership based and operated for the mutual benefit of our members. Also, any earnings we make are returned to our members in the forms of lower prices through our quality programs and services.
