Welcome everyone to “Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos, Online Talkshow” my name is Emmanuel Barbee, I am the host and founder/president of the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. This evening we’re celebrating GRCAM 26 Anniversary on Facebook Live. I welcome everyone on my friends list and everyone in my social groups from Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Twitter, Wordpress and all of the other social networks I am apart of to join us in this annual event.

As soon as I am able to generate enough capital from my book sell and have my management team in place, then I will start the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago. We will host 10 hours of non-stop arts festival consisting of live entertainment, interactive space for our members to display their upcoming films, plays, and their music both Christian and Secular. We will host our members in poetry, comedy, music, dance, local hip-hop, holy hip hop, family centered activities, and offer the best of African, Black American and Caribbean foods. Our goal is to empower our members and the community we will serve.

Heavenly father, I ask that you touch and hearts and minds of everyone who is listening to this podcast bless every person on my friends list and everyone in my social groups. Thank you for allowing Ms. Cindy H. Reed, to feature my revised book in her online magazine. I pray that she will have much success with her magazine. Thank you for sending me Sister Rena who has assisted me with editing my revised book and traveling with me to local events around the city of Chicago. Prove to my enemies that you called me to do this great task in Jesus name.

Earlier this year I started the Urban Revival series which was a spiritual event where we praise and worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through the reading of his word, words of encouragement, poems, hymns, and loving one another the way God loves us. The theme: Our Inner City Youth Matters/Restoring Kingdom Commitment” Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. My goal was to gather authentic Christians from my friends list to be in agreement with me that God will provide me with the resources to start my Christian organization.

For those of you who don’t know me this is what I do, I assist my group members and people on my friends list who reside within the United States with creating basic websites, I use my online talkshow as a platform for ordinary law-abiding activist, artist, church leaders, and small business owners to promote their products/services with my listeners from the podcast community in the convenience and privacy of their home. I also assist people on my friends list with finding college scholarships/grants; housing; legal services; and employment all for free.

In time GRCAM will take the lead in providing a variety of products and services for consumers and businesses, with a focus on e-commerce, finance, and digital content. I want to give our Artists a place to meet and get the exposure they deserve without all the hassle. I’m always looking for talented individuals to join my onlinetalk show until I am able to move my virtual Christian organization from behind a computer. You don’t have to be a Christian to be on my show all I ask is that you respect our beliefs. If you would like to be a guest speaker on my online talkshow just send me your email address to my Facebook inbox and I will make arrangements with you through email.

The Purpose of this annual webinar is for me to interact with other like-minded individuals on my friends list and people in my social groups who are concern about solving black issues, improving race relations in America, and to gather support so that I can eventually establish my Christian organization in the city of Chicago and 10 other cities throughout the Midwest. Recruit African Immigrants within the United States to assist me in setting up chapters on the African continent, and in time expand my Christian organization in Brazil and throughout the Caribbean.

I encourage everyone on my friends list and everyone in my social groups to purchase my revised book and read my story for yourself. If you agree with my vision then share my book information with your family, friends, place of worship and also at your local community center this will up speed up the process for me to generate the capital I need in order to hire qualified individuals to assist me and Sister Rena with the daily operation of my Christian business.

Our Theme: 26 Years Is Long Enough

I have proven my commitment to my cause for 26 years. I can’t sugar coat genocide it’s a controversial topic. Urban violence is a moral issue just like American slavery and Lynching. Since 2001, over 4,000 people has been killed in Chicago alone. Black People in America have been marching and protesting for 52 years since the Civil Rights Era. Obama gave us false hope that everybody in America is treated equally under the law he did not push to change the criminal justice system instead he focus on preserving his legacy by promoting the gay agenda and protecting Illegal Immigrants.

We as black people are divided based on social class, religion, and political affiliation created by the financial elites. African American from the lower economic class are suffering great harm from senseless violence, high unemployment, mass incarceration, police brutality, drug abuse, high illiteracy, inadequate healthcare and failing schools as a result of institutionalized racism.

I reached out to established black organizations in my city they refuse to work with me. I reached out to black churches in both my former and current community they only gave me lip service by saying keep up the good work. Black People nowadays have become Americanized and only care about themselves. If the Black Lives Matter participants would read my story and join my cause we will see real results in our criminal justice system.

I created (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement in 1991 on a site called Gopher to help raise awareness about the genocide which is taking place within our inner cities in America, in order for me to connect with other like-minded individuals who share my concern to form a legitimate coalition across the United States and around the globe for my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos starting in Chicago.

GRCAM is a virtual Christian socialist organization. A Christian socialist is a form of socialism based on the teachings of Jesus. Many Christian socialists believe that capitalism is idolatrous and rooted in greed, social inequality, and institutionalized racism which most Christian denominations consider a mortal sin. We will focus on what we stand for: love, compassion, social justice, and liberation theology. Jesus told us to focus on the lease of these in society according to Matthew 25:35-40. He also commanded us to be a witness to others not just for us to read his word, but to activate social change in the world according to Luke 4:18-19. We will be committed to the healing ministry of Jesus by showing compassion to inner city youth and their families which will promote dignity to the people and community we will serve.

The mission of GRCAM is to help eradicate urban violence while at the same time meet the social needs of the communities and families we will serve if given a chance. After 15 years of reaching out to black people online and offline I decided to write and publish my experience in hopes of recruiting brave and smart individuals who will join my management team. I start writing my manuscript in 2005 and I published my first book in 2010.

I paid in full for publishing and editing come to find out my first publisher did not edit my book. Sister Rena purchased my first book and was lead to assist me in editing my revised book. I found another publishing company called Createspace which is affiliated with Amazon I published my revised book in December of 2012. Once I have my management team in place or once I generate enough capital from my book sell then I will start the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago.

My book is just the beginning what I want to be remembered for is trying to build something positive in the black co instead of complaining about the white man, career politicians, and the government not investing in urban communities. GRCAM will take the lead to solve black issues once and for all. I am calling for new leadership in Black America and that’s why I am trying to do. It takes a team to make a dream work. We have to act now! I am just one black man with a plan and a vision.

I am called by my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to rebuild our inner cities in America and the slums in Africa similar to that of Nehemiah who was called by God to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Nehemiah used qualified engineers, architects and inventors to rebuild a new city. Likewise, I want smart individuals on my management team who will help make my Christian business effective and successful. I am seeking between 10 to 30 individuals within the United States who have read my story and have the expertise that I am looking for which are as follows: Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurs and Philanthropist. I am also looking for legitimate artists such as film directors, producers, actors, stage managers, fundraisers, technical directors and marketers who can assist me with the daily operation of my business. I will discuss compensation and incentives with them behind closed doors.

What makes my organization different from other black organizations is that GRCAI is based on my experience. I want to create a different type of business that would be more responsive to the needs of individuals and the community. We will build cooperative alliances to ensure that all of our members are heard loud and clear and that decisions would always be made in the best interests of the community as a whole. GRCAI will serve residents on the Westside of Chicago in the Austin community, Garfield Park community, and North Lawndale community before we expand to the Southside of Chicago.
It’s my hope that GRCAI will become a permanent infrastructure for our Artist in Chicago who will compete with other cities like Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta and emerge as a Hub throughout the Mid-West for emerging black artists and upcoming black Christian Entrepreneurs. GRCAI is about making our urban community better, healthier, and stronger. By working together, I believe GRCAI can advocate for a safer community for our inner-city youth and their families.

The focus of our mission is to create quality programs and services to strengthen the black family while improving the black community. In other words, we are focused on helping those that for many years have been ignored in our society. The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will rebuild Black Wall Street within the inner cities of America by promoting the Black Chicago Renaissance, which was a creative movement which emerged in Chicago's "Black Belt" which gave rise to Black writers, political activism, and social change.

I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 10 other cities within 10 states throughout the Mid-West before we expand my vision on the African continent. GRCAM will be dedicated in improving the quality of life for African Americans who reside in the inner cities of America and Native Africans who reside in the slums of Africa. I continue to call upon Millennials, Progressive African Americans, African Immigrants, Afro-Brazilians, Afro-Caribbean, Non-black sympathizers, all Christians regardless of denominations, moderate Muslims, and secular people who are interested in working with me in turning my vision into a reality. It’s time for members of the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement to make GRCAM known both throughout cyberspace as digital citizens as well as make our presence known in the Black Community starting in the city of Chicago.

One of GRCAM core beliefs is to support our local communities and that transforming the world begins with each of us giving back. GRCAM will do this through our Community Outreach Programs. We seek to create greater possibilities in life for at risk youth and underserved urban communities. GRCAM is a global community of thinkers and builders I need your help to move GRCAM from behind a computer into urban communities that need our talent and skills. I believe this act of human collaboration across an open platform is essential to the low income African American community and our collective future. We seek to enrich the lives of children and their families by promoting education and healthy living. GRCAM will encourages youth in under-resourced communities to use entrepreneurship based and experimental learning to equip them with the skills needed to succeed.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will become a global organization which promotes community-based programs and services we will offer to our members. From Chicago to Africa. We will donate clothing and funds that go towards providing school supplies, school lunches and help with tuition fees for children ages 3 through 18. GRCAI will focus on programs that support local artist and global communities who want to join our Christian organization. GRCAI will offer a wide range of activities from purchasing and donating food to help alleviate the difficult conditions facing our low-income clients to teaching at risk youth life skills.

It’s time for members of the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement to do your part as digital citizens to make our presence known both online and in our community. GRCAM will offer quality programs and services through our research, education, and community advocacy. GRCAM is a global community of thinkers and builders I need your help to move GRCAM from behind a computer into urban communities that need our talent and skills. I believe this act of human collaboration across an open platform is essential to the low income African American community and our collective future. The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement pledges to support its active members once we are established in the city of Chicago as mention in my revised book.

GRCAI will be membership based and private in order for me to weed out people who don’t care about our inner-city youth, their families, or the black community. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down. GRCAI is open to all ordinary law-abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.

The only thing which is preventing me from starting my Christian organization is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I am on social media to get my message out to the public through my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my online talkshow, and now through my revised book "The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America" second edition which is available on Amazon for $15.00 plus shipping and handling also it’s available as an ebook for $9.99 My revised book is the foundation of my Christian organization. In my book I provide a 21st century plan on how my Christian organization will help eradicate urban violence in Chicago under-served communities while at the same time meet the social needs of the communities and families we will serve if given a chance.
