(My Gift To Chicago)

I would like to wish everyone on my friends list and those in my social groups a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Once president elect Donald Trump begin cutting entitlement programs from the middle class, working class, and so called underclass maybe then Black America will embrace my vision and work with me in putting my ideas into action. Urban violence is a moral issue and I refuse to just sit back and watch my people being slaughtered in the streets of Chicago. I want everyone in America to know my story and I encourage those of you who are concerned about my cause (Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos) by purchasing my revised book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” second edition. The proceeds will go towards me hiring qualified people to assist me with the daily operations of my Christian organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute aspires to the healing mission of Christ on both the Westside and Southside of Chicago. The mission calls us to care for the sick and promote the health of the residents in the community while witnessing the Christian values of respect, dignity, caring and compassion for all persons. GRCAI will show a special sensitivity to the culture of the people we serve and the special needs of the poor and powerless.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will be recognized for its outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment in providing excellence in health care, and promoting and fostering comprehensive community wellness in the South Side community in Chicago. GRCAI will be sensitive and caring in reaching out to the community to facilitate the achievement of a physically, economically and spiritually healthy environment, characterized by high-quality programs and services.

We will work to:

Promote wellness and prevention of illness in the community, and be known as a resource for health education. Serve as a catalyst for change by empowering and partnering with organizations to enhance the provision of health care and economic empowerment to the neighborhoods we will serve. Support and nurture all of our members, their families with quality care.

We will further GRCAI leadership role in advocacy for people in need with particular concern for the poor and powerless Advance the development of a safe neighborhood environment and community quality of life Increase affordable housing, job opportunities and business development on the Westside and Southside through productive collaborations. We will create the best films and stage plays in Chicago, and we will promote unknown artist who become members of this organization. It's my hope that the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute would become the Hub in the Midwest for emerging artists and upcoming entrepreneurs.

Within the context of living out our faith and being empowered by and strengthened by our gift of faith, we aspire to and commit ourselves to the following core values:

We will treat each person with dignity and acknowledge their unique worth and diversity as a human being. We will be sensitive to their right to privacy and confidentiality of their personal information.

We will be sensitive and caring to our members, visitors, to the community we serve and to one another in our daily activities.

We will create a respectful, caring and supportive environment by listening to others with empathy and sensitivity, respectful of their feelings.
