Emmanuel Barbee is an African American professional blogger, blogtalkradio host, an upcoming social entrepreneur and also an urban author. He grew up in Chicago, Illinois.

He graduated from Crane High School, and studied sociology/social work at Northeastern Illinois University. But while attending college and working part time he focus on his call Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos a virtual community activist group called to raise public awareness and mobilize concerned people about the atrocities taken place within the inner cities of American ghettos.

He created “GRCAM” the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement on November 10th 1991 on a site called Gopher. His focus then was on inner city youth and their families who are entitled to respect, basic resources, and safety in their own community. He wanted to create a place to empower black students on campus to share our experience, exchange ideas, question beliefs we have taken for granted, grapple with ethical problems we have never considered, and to expand our horizons to keep us informed and responsible. Today He has broaden his perspective to include African Immigrants, Afro Brazilians, Afro Caribbean Islanders, Native Africans and all Black people in the Diaspora as well as sympathizers interested in black issues and want to help us solve black issues once and for all.

His goal is to network and help promote economic development by supporting one another through patronizing each others businesses, participating or attending events. I firmly believe what we talk about, we bring about so lets speak good will about our people as people that do good together work well together. His online blogtalkradio show Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos is available once a month usually during the end of the month unless posted. If you would like to be a guest speak just send Emmanuel a message to his Facebook inbox.

He worked as an GED instructor, Substance Abuse Counselor, Emergency Room Tech. In his revised book, "The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America" second edition available on Amazon.com Emmanuel provides a detailed story of his life and the hardships he experienced growing up with racial profiling, class differences and peer pressure. He also discuss issues facing Black America such as social, cultural, and political tensions which are affecting the black community. He touch on urban gentrification in Chicago neighborhoods, in particular the influx of middle class and upper middle class white people moving in the area.

He discuss the distrust between the police department and the low income African American community. Emmanuel offers a detail roadmap on how his organization "GRCAM" the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement will help end urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities starting in Chicago if given a chance. The only thing which is preventing him from turning his virtual organization GRCAM into a real business is the lack of manpower and the capital this is the main reason why he continue to emphasize his book. Once Emmanuel get his revised book on the best sellers list and generate enough capital he will hire qualified individuals to assist him in the daily operations of his Christian organization.

It's Emmanuel hope that through his revised book he could get connected with Angel Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, and Social Entrepreneurs to discuss his for profit business plan. As well as get connected with Donors, Philanthropist, and Sponsors to discuss his nonprofit business plan. He want to connect with real people who will work with him in turning his vision into reality. Peace over violence
